The 20 Something Young Adult Board is here to serve you.

We were able to have our first offiicial board meeting today. Unfortanately only 3 of the 6 board members were able to attended. We are planning to meet again on Sunday, October 28th at the church.

Below are a few things we discussed:

Frequency of Bible studies

Those in attendance today agreed that Bible studies would be held once a month until we are fully established and we will have one fellowship activity once every quarter.

Bible Study location

Those in attendance suggested that Bible studies would be held at the Bishops home...at least until we grow to big to meet there.

Service opportunity

A suggestion was made that the 20 Something young adults sponser sending letters and/or care packages to church members in the military.

Fellowship Ideas

College Basketball Game (Tammy and Havon had some trouble agreeing if we should go to a USC or a UCLA game)
Bowling
Paint Ball
Game night
Go Carts
Spoken Word
Mulligans
Christmas Party

A suggestion was made to have an around the world Christmas party at the homes of young adult group members.
